7th Annual Steinhoisting Challenge with Sam Adams & Columbus Day Wknd Schedule!

What is stein hoisting? Glass beer steins are filled with beer and the challenge is to see how long you can hold the stein with arm straight out! The stein and beer together weigh close to five pounds. Here are past records:

2020 – Frenchie 10 mins 16 secs & bartender Lala 4 mins 19 seconds This year, due to the pandemic year, Boston Beer could not attend and we held the competition differently with our Bentley’s Saloon 15 oz glass beer mugs with 24 oz fishing sinkers blue balls! 48 contestants!!

This year Sam Adams will be hosting with us again and they have swag to give away to all contestants. The top guy and gal with longest times get ceramic steins.

Sign up for challenge starts Friday, Oct 8, 5 pm at the saloon, and we’ll go as long as it takes!! More contestants sign up as we go along b/c it definitely is an excited, fun time!
